today i had a problem with my word 2007, it kept opening my documents in seperate windows (grr) så i had a look around, and all i could find was "how to" in word 2003

så i had a look around and found the bloody check mark

word-settings-> Advanced tab -> under "Show" - uncheck the box that says something about show all documents in the processline or W/E
